Let's create, act out, and have lots of laughs at Rafu Rafu!
February 14th (Sat)
First year students from Daiwa Junior High School will be holding an event at the Rafu Rafu Kid's Hall to promote the charms of Daiwacho.

2. Let's go to the music plaza! Spring Break Family Concert
March 28th (Sat)
This approximately one-hour family concert is open to everyone of all ages. Please come and enjoy this event with the whole family.

3. The 2026 Mihara Daruma Festival (Shinmei-ichi) ~Celebrating the 20th anniversary of Mihara City's Incorporation~
February 6th (Fri) ~ 8th (Sun)
This year's Mihara Daruma Festival will be featuring the following:
(1) Revival! Karaoke Competition
Thirty contestants will show off their singing talents.

(2) Revival! Daruma Parade
40 third grade students from Mihara Elementary School wearing papier-mache daruma suits and masks as well as kindergarteners from Showaen Kindergarten wearing daruma masks will be parading through the street.
Location: 【Parade Route】Mihara Elementary School → Mihara Station Square → Near the Shinmei Giant Daruma doll (in case of rain, to be held inside the JR Mihara Station)

(2) 2nd Local Pudding Festival
A festival featuring a wide variety of not only Hiroshima Mihara Pudding made with local ingredients, but different puddings from outside the city and prefecture as well!

(3) "Mihara Shinmenichi" A gathering of noodle dishes!
A selection of gourmet food centered on the theme of "noodles" will be available. Balloon daruma dolls will also be on display!

(4) DARUMART 2026 Exhibition
Approximately 500 art daruma dolls will be exhibited, all made by people who used the Mihara Daruma dolls as their canvas.

(5) Shinmei Daruma Lottery
This is a no-lose lottery where you can win various prizes. The sale of tickets will end when they run out.
Location: Near the Shinmei Giant Daruma doll
Fee: 200 yen per ticket

4. Hiroshima Residents Cultural Festival '25 The 36th Bisan District Festival Mihara Venue
February 28th (Sat)

Content: Performance arts and recitals by cultural groups in the Bisan district, Kenshibu (Sword dance), folk songs and traditional dances, and western dance

6. The 22nd Daiwacho Health Walking Event
March 22nd (Sun)
Location: Hakuryu Lake Sports Village Park
Time: Opening Ceremony starts at 9:00 【Registration Hours】 8:30 ~ 9:00
Content: (1) Cherry Blossom Viewing Course: 4 km
(2) Experienced Walker Course: 9 km
Limit: 100 people ※Elementary school students and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

7. The 4th Honmachi Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival/Girls' Day)
February 28th (Sat) ~ March 1st (Sun)
Handmade stone Hina dolls ("ishibina") and "hinadan-kazari" (decorative stage) will be put on display. There will also be a bazaar with food services, a cafe, matcha tea ceremonies, street piano, and music performances for you to enjoy.

8. The 41st Saizakicho Cultural Festival

9. Roadside Station Yogansu Hakuryu Valentine's Day Event
Until February 14th (Sat)
We will be serving heart-shaped chocolate pizzas as well as Valentine's Day lunch sets. Customers who purchase a hot coffee will also receive a free mini chocolate.

3. Certificates you can get at a convenience store
You can use your My Number card to obtain certificates such as resident registration certificates, seal registration certificates, and family registers at convenience stores and other locations. As it has been made easy for you to obtain these documents without filling out an application form, we encourage you to use this service whenever needed.
What you need: A My Number card, 4-digit PIN, and money for the certificate issuance fee

4. Mihara Yassa Dance Promotion Council Public Dance Practice

5. Advanced First Aid Training course to be held

Contents: Training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) transporting techniques, including AED training that applies to adults, children, and infants.
