1. Hiroshima Wind Orchestra - Mihara Special Performance 2026​

May 23rd (Sat)
The first half will feature a performance of the required piece for the 2026 All Japan Wind Orchestra Competition, while the second half will feature a variety of pieces that are also famous. In addition, Maestro Tatsuya Shimono will also be delivering his talks that are always popular with the audiences.

2. The 12th Hakuryuko Fireworks Display in Daiwa​

April 4th (Sat)
Location: Hakuryuko Sports Village Park
Time: Fireworks starts from 19:00
※Local vendors will be selling food and drinks from 12:00.
※Free shuttle buses from Daiwa Sports Plaza and Kuwanashi Miraikan will operate from 14:30.

3. The YOGANSU Sakura Fireworks Fair​

April 4th (Sat)
Local producers will be selling food from stalls and take-out pizzas at special prices.
Cherry Blossom Fireworks Special Offer
● "Pizza Margherita" and "Ohanami (Cherry blossom viewing) Pizza Set" 10% discount
● "Self-Service Wine" 500 yen

4. 「Sports Theme Park in Mihara」Outdoor edition​

May 9th (Sat)
This event is for children to experience five different outdoor sports. Each experience session will be 60 minutes long and participation prizes will be given out. Experiences where parents and guardians can participate will also be available.

Target: For Elementary school students, parents and guardians (for some sessions)

5. The 4th Station-front Street Live​

May 3rd (Sun・Holiday)
Amateur musicians based in Mihara City and surrounding towns will showcase a variety of songs and performances. Food and drinks will also be sold from food trucks.

Daily Life Information

​​​​1.  A nationwide Spring Traffic Safety Campaign will be held from the period of the 6th (Mon) ~ 15th (Wed)​

[Key Initiatives]
(1) Ensuring the safety of pedestrians, especially children, on school routes and residential streets.
(2) Eradicating distracted driving practices such as using smartphones while driving and prioritizing pedestrians.
(3) Ensuring thorough understanding and compliance with traffic rules for bicycles and certain small motorized bicycles.
(4) Preventing traffic accidents on expressways.

2. Let's make a Mihara Daruma​

Time: Except for May 6th (Wed), available every Monday and Wednesday of April and May 13:00 ~ 16:00, and every Saturday 10:00 ~ 13:00

3. Castle Town Mihara Walking Guide​

Time: April 11th (Sat), May 9th (Sat) 10:30~12:00 each

​​Public health nurses, clinical psychologists, speech-language-hearing therapists, etc. are available to provide consultations regarding child development. Please feel free to consult with us about any concerns you may have about your child's language or behavior.
